Naming Ceremonies

If you anticipate having a family, or have just had a new addition to your existing family, it is possible to arrange a religious ceremony which welcomes a child into the family and community and which gives each child their name. It is also an opportunity to reflect on the consequences of having gone through pregnancy, becoming a parent, aunt, uncle, or grandparent. A short ceremony (with could include other officiants,) can be a moving occasion. For male children, a circumcision can be arranged.
